Playgroup Programs
There are over 250 Community Playgroups that typically meet weekly for up to two hours in venues such as community centres, halls, parks and schools.
PlayConnect+ Playgroups are designed for families of children aged 0-8 years who have unique needs association with having an Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) or autism-like characteristics in communication, behaviour or social skills.
Playgroup at Home is a South Australian Playgroup initiative which invites our community to share ideas for play, health and wellbeing, and to support opportunities for play from the comfort of home.
PALS is an inclusive Supported Playgroup, engaging families with disability in Playgroup and connecting these families with mainstream community. The families participate in a cultural, sport or recreation activity each week.
PlayTogether is a program run by Playgroup SA that supports Playgroups to be a welcoming and safe place for families with a child or adult with a disability or developmental delay. PlayTogether promotes inclusivity and connection for people with disability through community playgroups.
PlayForever Intergenerational Playgroups are bridging generational gaps to reduce isolation and ageism within local communities, by bringing communities together through play. PlayForever Playgroups are held in aged care homes and retirement villages for all ages to learn through play.
